A black and white photograph of Australian cousins & friends of the Blackmore and Saunders families of Riverton. An inscription on the back reads, 'Back row, Mr. Horton and Mr. Tate, front row your cousin Bessie with a black cat in her arms, your cousin Will with a black dog between his legs Aunt Charlotte and Alex Cornish, only Murrays legs is showing but you have Murrays.' We know that Aunt Charlotte is Charlotte Amelia Robertson nee Blackmore born 1850 in Tasmania Australia, Charlotte married Alexander Robertson (1847-1904) in 1895. Charlotte died 1926 and is buried at Bicheno Cemetery in Tasmania. Alex is also interred there. Charlotte is the sister of (married names) Mary Ann Harvey, Emma Jane Cornish and William Edmund Blackmore. William Edmund Blackmore born Tasmania died Riverton NZ in 1911.
