The personal lives of miners and their families and the long arm of the law are key features of this museum. One of the Museum's four buildings, once the Old Town Board Office, has a collection of mining, dairy company and town memorabilia. The Courthouse features wedding, sports, school, war and family photos, as well as displays. The jail has photos and clothes of police and fire service.
We have added a wash-house which brings a lot of memories of how the washing was done when the copper had to be lit.
