This is a Masonic Research Lodge where members are engaged in the research and propagation of all aspects of Masonic knowledge.
The memorial Masonic museum is housed on the second floor of the Masonic Building - a single room with a mezzanine floor. Masonic medals and a comprehensive collection of aprons dating from the early 18th century to the present day are displayed in glass showcases.
Masonic glassware and pottery as well as many artefacts, portraits and photos of Masonic personalities also feature.
On the ground and mezzanine floors is a Masonic library, mainly used as an archive and research facility, consisting of 5,000 books and magazines. A lending department is also available.
