While small, the Wainuiomata Water Museum hosts a range of beautiful images, historic artefacts related to the Wainuiomata and Orongorongo water collection areas, as well as pest control items which have helped native species to thrive.
Come along and learn about how we look after some of the most significant old growth forest in the region to make sure Wellington’s drinking water is the best it can be from these catchments.
