The Puhoi Historical Society is designed for people with an interest in the development of New Zealand in the late 1800's as well as those who are descended from the Bohemian settlers. The museum, housed in one room of the old convent school, displays in text and photos the history of the special settlement of Puhoi. A small number of artefacts given by pioneer families enhance the story.
