This beautiful and interactive museum is open seven days a week, and run by an amazing group of passionate volunteers.
The building itself is an interesting blend of old and new - housed in the historic Town Board Office (an Historic Places Trust Category 2 building), a modern extension has recently been completed. The museum is well set out and contains the interesting history of the Geraldine area. It brings the local stories to life through engaging displays, life-sized photographs, and audio-visual presentations.
Entry is just $5 for adults, and children can explore for free! The friendly volunteers are there daily to welcome visitors and share fascinating insights about the Geraldine community’s past.
A must visit for history buffs when visiting the beautiful town of Geraldine.
