The Te Awaroa Museum comprises of 5 buildings:
- School Masters House is the original headmaster's home and is currently undergoing redesign. It will house our Taonga Māori.
- Hedley House is a renovated Edwardian house, set out in Edwardian New Zealand style.
- the Courthouse is the very first courthouse built by Native Affairs as a Māori Land Court.
- the Hec Nicholls Barn houses old farming and timber implements.
- Our Roy Monk Office and Archives building holds our original photographs, paintings, paperwork and our family history collection. It includes the Alan Jordan collection of Kaukapakapa, and the West photo collection. There is a good selection of photographs of local schools, buildings & people.
