Immerse yourself in the world of Canterbury art and then take it home. This gallery provides exhibitions and work for sale from a wide variety of New Zealand artists, and has a special interest in Canterbury artists, featuring work from local painters every month. An open gallery sells work by contemporary Canterbury painters. The comprehensive permanent collection features 19th and 20th century New Zealand artists. CoCA also has one of the country's largest exhibiting galleries.
If you want to talk to the experts, CoCA offers education programmes, tours, valuations, an information service and advice for members, artists and the general public on the visual arts. CoCA aims to act as a centre for the dissemination of information and debate about contemporary art.
