Goldi Knits Le Pique Nique knitted mini dress, 2025

Shared by New Zealand Fashion Museum

'Le pique-nique' is a textural and vibrant statement mini dress that was released as part of the Autumn Winter '25 collection by Goldi Knitwear 'Picnic Society'. Finger knitted cords of yarn collected from West Coast op-shops between Tamaki Makaurau and Poneke weave through an irregular, loosely knitted woollen vest, forming a tartan-like pattern. Theatrical, whimsical, Westwoodian and wonderful.lnstagram: @goldi_knitwear
