Large Square Section Vessel | Ann Robinson

Shared by The Dowse Art Museum

This style began around 1988, and developed alongside Robinson's more advanced series of bowl forms. These works were cast with thin sheet wax, marking the beginnings of vertical vessel forms such as her later Nikau vases, Cactus vase, and Orchid vase. Robinson has used recycled crushed glass, leftovers from the Southern Glass furnace (John Crou... Collection of The Dowse Art Museum, purchased 1989.
