Child’s Pair of Leather Rugby Boots

This is a pair of well-worn child’s size leather rugby boots which were common to the ones worn by teams in the Mangawhai schools area in the 1950s. The sole of the boots are fitted with 6 leather studs, each stud is formed by layers of leather cylindrical discs fastened to the sole of the boot by three nails.
