The musicans involved formed their own record company to get the record made. It was the first LP of NZ women musicans and the record featured artists Topp Twins, Hilary King, Hattie St John, Jess Hawke Oakenstar, Mahinarangi Tocker (Mahina), Mereana Pitman and Val Murphy
