Shared by Cromwell Museum
A brown and khaki, brimmed fibreglass hard hat with three holes and a metal clip for attaching lamps. The inside crown has a laced leather insert to fit a wearer's head. This texolex safety helmet was donated by Royden Thomson, a local geologist who was the first permanent employee of the Clutha Valley Development Project.
