Egyptian black-topped red ware vessel

This black-topped red ware ceramic beaker has a polished red surface and a thick band of black around the lip of the vessel. The rim flares slightly. The interior is completely black. The cylindrical vessel widens outwards slightly towards the wide mouth. The sides also taper slightly inwards towards the flat circular base. It is a long and relatively narrow shape.
