A 131 page booklet telling the story of George and Mary Partridge whose long journey began in Devon, England and who arrived in Cromwell, New Zealand in the 1860's. On their journey they first settled at Geelong, Australia in 1850. Gold was being discovered at this time and it is thought that George may have been a prospector. In 1863 George heard of the Otago goldfields and aged 44 years came to Cromwell in 1863.
