Hīnātore refers to a phosphorescent world under the sea that the Matariki stars go to for six days and nights. Hīnātore is a rejuvinative place, and Ron Te Kawa also sees it as somewhere to inhabit during the creative process. Collection of The Dowse Art Museum, purchased with the assistance of the Blumhardt Foundation, 2022.
