Shared by
Brain-Watkins House Museum (Est. 1881)

Edina toilet cistern which seems to have been advertised in New Zealand from around 1911. The cistern has been painted white and is located in the outside toilet. Tauranga wasn’t hooked up to sewage until 1915, so before then the night cart system was in place.
