Piupiu or rain cape in shades of brown with a plaited backing and band. It has sections made of pingao (a type of yellow leafed flax like plant). The skirt is made in layers and is quite thick. The waistband has patterning of diamond shapes outlined in dark brown thread. It has two plaited muka ties.
