This is a working drawing by Ralph Hotere for the mural which was commissioned by the Hamilton City Council for the western wall of the foyer of the Founders Memorial Theatre. Hotere's mural was the result of a two stage competition organised by the Hamilton City Council and the Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council.
