Cricket bat signed by the New Zealand and English cricket teams from the 1946-1947 MCC tour to New Zealand and the 1950-1951 MCC tour to New Zealand. The bat was given to Sir Howard Kippenberger sometime between 1946-1947. The signatures on the bat are faded but the ones that have been identified are listed below: Walter Hammond, Norman Yardley, Bill Edrich, Godfrey Evans, Cyril Washbrook, Peter Smith, Alec Bedser, Doug Wright. Denis Compton, Gilbert Parkhouse, Alec Bedser, Brian Statham, Reg Simpson, Doug Wright, Arthur McIntyre, Roy Tattersall, Len Hutton, Trevor Bailey.
